Railmagra is a small village of 1851 hectares in Railmagra Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of , India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Railmagra depends on RAJSAMAND, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Railmagra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Railmagra's pin code is 313329[4], and village code is 03030400. The area of Railmagra is segregated as 389 hectares irrigated area, 564 hectares unirrigated, the 428 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 470 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Railmagra has One post office (Railmagra S.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Railmagra has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Railmagra is a census village in the district of Rajsamand. The village has a total population of 131800 and has total administration over 27874 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Railmagra has 18013 children, 9483 boys and 8530 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 22303 (16.92%) males constitute 11203 (8.50%) of the population and females 11100 (8.42%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 13137 (9.97%) males constitute 6619 (5.02%) of the population and females 6518 (4.95%).

According to a census 2011 report, 66582 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 38541 male, 28041 female with 51577 (77.46%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 33286 males and 18291 females. 16885 males and 12279 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 2515 male and 3068 female agricultural labor. 15005 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rajsamand to sell earthen pot and make their living.
