Raipur is a small village of 278 hectares in Chauth Ka Barwara Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Raipur depends on GANGAPUR CITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Raipur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Raipur's pin code is 322703[4], and village code is 01262300. The area of Raipur is segregated as 213.84 hectares irrigated area, 19.53 hectares unirrigated, the 27.82 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16.69 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Raipur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Raipur is a census village in the district of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2612 and has total administration over 538 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Raipur has 440 children, 237 boys and 203 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1520 (58.19%) males constitute 814 (31.16%) of the population and females 706 (27.03%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 84 (3.22%) males constitute 46 (1.76%) of the population and females 38 (1.45%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of GANGAPUR CITY and Sawai Madhopur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
