Raipura is a small village of 310 hectares in Thanagazi Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Raipura depends on VIRATNAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Raipura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Raipura's pin code is 301024[4], and village code is 00886000. The area of Raipura is segregated as 19 hectares irrigated area, 55 hectares unirrigated, the 24 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 29 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Raipura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Raipura is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 575 and has total administration over 109 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Raipura has 112 children, 37 boys and 75 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 125 (21.74%) males constitute 44 (7.65%) of the population and females 81 (14.09%).

The workforce is 97 male, 191 female with 94 (32.64%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 68 males and 26 females. 50 males and 16 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 14 male and 8 female agricultural labor. 194 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of VIRATNAGAR and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
