Raisar is a small village of 514 hectares in Jamwa Ramgarh Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Raisar depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 90.09% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Raisar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Raisar's pin code is 303109[4], and village code is 01588600. The area of Raisar is segregated as 90.09 hectares irrigated area, 86.11 hectares unirrigated, the 171.13 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 122.01 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Raisar has One post office (Raisar B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Raisar has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Raisar is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4528 and has total administration over 775 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Raisar has 837 children, 468 boys and 369 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1822 (40.24%) males constitute 953 (21.05%) of the population and females 869 (19.19%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 273 (6.03%) males constitute 143 (3.16%) of the population and females 130 (2.87%).

The workforce is 1124 male, 454 female with 1116 (70.72%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 981 males and 135 females. 73 males and 15 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 51 male and 16 female agricultural labor. 462 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell carpet making and make their living.
