Rajlani is a small village of 5172 hectares in Bhopalgarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rajlani depends on Pipar City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rajlani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Rajlani's pin code is 342901[4], and village code is 01953200. The area of Rajlani is segregated as 1103 hectares irrigated area, 2342 hectares unirrigated, the 820.08 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 907 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Rajlani has One post office (Rajlani B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Rajlani has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Rajlani is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4901 and has total administration over 928 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Rajlani has 776 children, 377 boys and 399 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1450 (29.59%) males constitute 743 (15.16%) of the population and females 707 (14.43%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 103 (2.10%) males constitute 54 (1.10%) of the population and females 49 (1.0%).

According to a census 2011 report, 2831 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1414 male, 1417 female with 1056 (37.3%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 901 males and 155 females. 421 males and 34 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 135 male and 58 female agricultural labor. 1775 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pipar City and Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
