Rajpura is a small village of 2093 hectares in Desuri Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rajpura depends on Sadri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 128.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rajpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Rajpura's pin code is 306702[4], and village code is 02467800. The area of Rajpura is segregated as 142 hectares irrigated area, 230 hectares unirrigated, the 139 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 148 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Rajpura has One post office (Sadri S.O) and Six public telephones. Rajpura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Rajpura is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1865 and has total administration over 395 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Rajpura has 312 children, 160 boys and 152 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 245 (13.14%) males constitute 126 (6.76%) of the population and females 119 (6.38%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 156 (8.36%) males constitute 74 (3.97%) of the population and females 82 (4.40%).

The workforce is 429 male, 471 female with 839 (93.22%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 406 males and 433 females. 169 males and 67 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 86 male and 310 female agricultural labor. 61 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sadri and Pali to sell coal and make their living.
