Rajpura is a small village of 674 hectares in Pipalda Tehsil in Kota district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rajpura depends on LAKHERI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Rajpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Rajpura's pin code is 325004[3], and village code is 03770800. The area of Rajpura is segregated as 406.9 hectares irrigated area, 44.74 hectares unirrigated, the 70.5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 50.7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Rajpura has One public telephone. Rajpura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Rajpura is a census village in the district of Kota, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1014 and has total administration over 194 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Rajpura has 147 children, 78 boys and 69 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 219 (21.60%) males constitute 109 (10.75%) of the population and females 110 (10.85%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 577 (56.90%) males constitute 305 (30.08%) of the population and females 272 (26.82%).

The workforce is 280 male, 227 female with 240 (47.34%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 222 males and 18 females. 165 males and 13 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 41 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 267 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of LAKHERI and Kota to sell ghee and make their living.
