Rajwas is a small village of 304 hectares in Bundi Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rajwas depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rajwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Rajwas's pin code is 323803[3], and village code is 02762300. The area of Rajwas is segregated as 195.19 hectares irrigated area, 4.85 hectares unirrigated, the 20.58 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 34.03 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Rajwas has One post office (Rajwas B.O) and Eight public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Rajwas has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Rajwas is a census village in the district of Bundi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 574 and has total administration over 114 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Rajwas has 68 children, 37 boys and 31 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 287 (50.0%) males constitute 158 (27.53%) of the population and females 129 (22.47%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 266 (46.34%) males constitute 127 (22.13%) of the population and females 139 (24.22%).

The workforce is 189 male, 186 female with 191 (50.93%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 127 males and 64 females. 48 males and 20 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 66 male and 38 female agricultural labor. 184 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bundi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
