Rama Kant Agnihotri is a former Professor and Head, Department of Linguistics at the University of Delhi. He has also published books from Routledge, Oxford University Press, Multilingual Matters, Orient BlackSwan, Ratna Sagar among others. He was the Chairperson of the National Council of Educational Research and Training, National Focus Group on the teaching of Indian Languages. He is at present Professor Emeritus at Vidya Bhawan Society, Udaipur.
