Ramnagar is a small village of 190 hectares in Phulera (Hq.Sambhar) Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ramnagar depends on Kotputli, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ramnagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ramnagar's pin code is 303348[4], and village code is 01445900. The area of Ramnagar is segregated as 61 hectares irrigated area, 86 hectares unirrigated, the 2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 41 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ramnagar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Ramnagar is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1121 and has total administration over 220 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Ramnagar has 167 children, 83 boys and 84 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 338 (30.15%) males constitute 184 (16.41%) of the population and females 154 (13.74%).

The workforce is 259 male, 145 female with 347 (85.89%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 237 males and 110 females. 85 males and 36 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 6 male. 57 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kotputli and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
