Rampura is a small village of 275 hectares in Kotputli Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rampura depends on Kotputli, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rampura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Rampura's pin code is 303106[4], and village code is 01452100. The area of Rampura is segregated as 189 hectares irrigated area, 48 hectares unirrigated, the 18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Rampura has One post office (Rampura B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Rampura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Rampura is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2638 and has total administration over 447 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Rampura has 393 children, 215 boys and 178 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 334 (12.66%) males constitute 174 (6.60%) of the population and females 160 (6.07%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 243 (9.21%) males constitute 132 (5.0%) of the population and females 111 (4.21%).

The workforce is 666 male, 627 female with 628 (48.57%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 591 males and 37 females. 299 males and 20 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 76 male and 5 female agricultural labor. 665 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kotputli and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
