Ranagi is a small village of 314 hectares in Kushalgarh Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ranagi depends on Kushalgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ranagi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ranagi's pin code is 327602[4], and village code is 03493000. The area of Ranagi is segregated as 84 hectares irrigated area, 106 hectares unirrigated, the 22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 22 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ranagi is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1084 and has total administration over 220 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 246 male, 247 female with 289 (58.62%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 201 males and 88 females. 160 males and 12 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 20 male and 73 female agricultural labor. 204 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kushalgarh and Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
