Ranasar is a small village of 1797 hectares in Churu Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ranasar depends on CHURU, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 196.21% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ranasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Churu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
