Rangi is a small village of 131 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rangi depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rangi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Rangi's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03452400. The area of Rangi is segregated as 1 hectares irrigated area, 69 hectares unirrigated, the 12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 49 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Rangi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Rangi is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 461 and has total administration over 98 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Rangi has 93 children, 45 boys and 48 girls.
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 448 (97.18%) males constitute 226 (49.02%) of the population and females 222 (48.16%).

The workforce is 120 male, 102 female with 221 (99.55%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 120 males and 101 females. 109 males and 74 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 11 male and 26 female agricultural labor. 1 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
