Ranipura is a small village of 388 hectares in Shahpura Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ranipura depends on Chomu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 89.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ranipura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ranipura's pin code is 303601[4], and village code is 01471600. The area of Ranipura is segregated as 89 hectares irrigated area, 91 hectares unirrigated, the 72.14 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 136 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ranipura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Ranipura is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1371 and has total administration over 205 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Ranipura has 162 children, 89 boys and 73 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 87 (6.35%) males constitute 46 (3.36%) of the population and females 41 (2.99%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 121 (8.83%) males constitute 61 (4.45%) of the population and females 60 (4.38%).

The workforce is 309 male, 289 female with 540 (90.3%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 292 males and 248 females. 185 males and 198 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 4 male and 2 female agricultural labor. 58 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chomu and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
