Ranisar is a small village of 3033 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ranisar depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ranisar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Ranisar's pin code is 342308[4], and village code is 01922600. The area of Ranisar is segregated as 4 hectares irrigated area, 2387 hectares unirrigated, the 619 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 23 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Ranisar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Ranisar is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 640 and has total administration over 122 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Ranisar has 138 children, 68 boys and 70 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 91 (14.22%) males constitute 40 (6.25%) of the population and females 51 (7.97%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phalodi and Jodhpur to sell blanket and make their living.
