Raniwara is a small village of 1023 hectares in Raniwara Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Raniwara depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 327.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Raniwara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Raniwara's pin code is 343040[4], and village code is 02293000. The area of Raniwara is segregated as 485 hectares irrigated area, 129 hectares unirrigated, the 178.26 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 231 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Raniwara is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2324 and has total administration over 360 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 320 (13.77%) males constitute 164 (7.06%) of the population and females 156 (6.71%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 621 (26.72%) males constitute 305 (13.12%) of the population and females 316 (13.60%).

The workforce is 630 male, 543 female with 787 (67.09%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 550 males and 237 females. 249 males and 47 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 226 male and 146 female agricultural labor. 386 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
