Ratanpura is a small village of 1191 hectares in Gudha Malani Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ratanpura depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 48.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ratanpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Ratanpura's pin code is 344031[4], and village code is 02204200. The area of Ratanpura is segregated as 267 hectares irrigated area, 549 hectares unirrigated, the 124 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 251.12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ratanpura has One post office (Ratanpura B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Ratanpura has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Ratanpura is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 710 and has total administration over 121 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Ratanpura has 120 children, 60 boys and 60 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 248 (34.93%) males constitute 126 (17.75%) of the population and females 122 (17.18%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 23 (3.24%) males constitute 14 (1.97%) of the population and females 9 (1.27%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell ghee and make their living.
