Ratanpura is a small village of 299 hectares in Lalsot Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ratanpura depends on Mahwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ratanpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ratanpura's pin code is 303510[4], and village code is 01374900. The area of Ratanpura is segregated as 103.99 hectares irrigated area, 166.67 hectares unirrigated, the 3.66 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 25.13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ratanpura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Ratanpura is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 871 and has total administration over 157 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 389 (44.66%) males constitute 227 (26.06%) of the population and females 162 (18.60%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 6 (0.69%) males constitute 5 (0.57%) of the population and females 1 (0.11%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mahwa and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
