Ratanpura is a small village of 120 hectares in Makrana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ratanpura depends on Makrana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 14.10% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ratanpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Ratanpura's pin code is 341302[4], and village code is 01883200. The area of Ratanpura is segregated as 14.1 hectares irrigated area, 97 hectares unirrigated, remaining 9.1 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ratanpura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Ratanpura is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 525 and has total administration over 92 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 240 (45.71%) males constitute 125 (23.81%) of the population and females 115 (21.90%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Makrana and Nagaur to sell ghee and make their living.
