Rathod is a small village of 715 hectares in Bonli Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rathod depends on NIWAI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rathod is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Rathod's pin code is 322023[4], and village code is 01304700. The area of Rathod is segregated as 301.15 hectares irrigated area, 141.62 hectares unirrigated, the 260.7 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11.85 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Rathod is a census village in the district of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1453 and has total administration over 283 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 302 (20.78%) males constitute 158 (10.87%) of the population and females 144 (9.91%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NIWAI and Sawai Madhopur to sell ghee and make their living.
