Ratriya is a small village of 365 hectares in Sagwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ratriya depends on Sagwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 6.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ratriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Ratriya's pin code is 314035[4], and village code is 03350400. The area of Ratriya is segregated as 84 hectares irrigated area, 75 hectares unirrigated, the 193 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ratriya has One post office (Ratriya B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Ratriya has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Ratriya is a census village in the district of Dungarpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2116 and has total administration over 472 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Ratriya has 440 children, 230 boys and 210 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 134 (6.33%) males constitute 73 (3.45%) of the population and females 61 (2.88%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 1532 (72.40%) males constitute 711 (33.60%) of the population and females 821 (38.80%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sagwara and Dungarpur to sell wheat and make their living.
