Ren is a small village of 799 hectares in Bhinay Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ren depends on Vijainagar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 7.65% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ren is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ren's pin code is 305622[4], and village code is 02561000. The area of Ren is segregated as 82.1 hectares irrigated area, 141.27 hectares unirrigated, the 42.49 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 36.7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Vijainagar and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
