Richa Anirudh is an Indian Journalist, Tv Anchor, RJ, Talk Show Host, Editor. She is one of the popular faces in Indian television and hosts a popular YouTube channel Zindagi with Richa.[1]

Career[edit]

Richa has been working in the television news industry since 1996. She also started freelancing work with DD National, anchoring the programme called — Ankur. Later in 1998, after her marriage and shifted to Ajmer, she joined Dainik Navajyoti as a trainee journalist, a state-level Hindi daily of Rajasthan.[2]

In 2001, she joined Pandit Ravi Shankar as his Office Administrator in Delhi. [3] Also, start working with DD Sports, ETV Urdu. In the same year, she was selected at AIR FM as an RJ.

Between 2001 to 2012, Richa joined Zee News as a Reporter and started anchoring the news. In 2005, she join Channel 7 by Dainik Jagaran, later rebranded as IBN7 and then News18 India as Special Correspondent and News Anchor.[4] In 2007, she started a talk show named "Zindagi Live" on IBN7 were she discuss and interviewed people like the Kunwer Sachdev - Solar Man of India. [5] till 2013 where she talks about complex social issues like Violence Against Women[6]. In 2017, on the channel ETV, she brought back as Zindagi Live Returns. Later she launched the show "Zindagi With Richa" on YouTube. [7][8]

She also worked with 92.7 BIG FM and host a breakfast show named "Dilli Meri Jaan", which was related to everyday issues of Delhi People.[9] She hosts a show named "Big Heroes", where she talks and celebrate the spirit of unsung heroes.[10]

She is the Editor in chief of School Magazine – School-Live which has created a platform for students of all schools to read, write and share views.[11]

She recently join hands with India Ahead digital for a weekly digital show called 'Covid Aur Hum.' Where she talks about various aspects of dealing with Covid.[12]

She also appeared on the very popular programme Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) as an ‘Expert Advice’ hosted by one of India’s beloved stars – Amitabh Bachchan.[13]

Richa Aniruddha was selected for the prestigious Chevening Gurukul Scholarship by the UK government in 2012. She also appeared in the TV game show - Kaun Banega Crorepati as the Expert Advisor.[18]
