Robbie Tripp (born October 8, 1990), is an American rapper, internet personality, and entrepreneur from Las Vegas, Nevada.[1][2]
With the release of his debut track, "Chubby Sexy," which was featured as a "Moment of the Year" in GQ Magazine's annual Men of the Year issue, Tripp started gaining recognition online as a viral internet rapper.[3]
Within a short period of time, Tripp has worked alongside a number of successful hip hop artists such as Blocboy JB, Dizzy Wright, RiFF RAFF, and Grammy Award-winning producer Jahlil Beats. His music and content have also been featured in well-known media outlets such as The New York Times, E! News, NYLON, Men's Health, and others for his unique style and flashy appearance.[4][5]
Early life and education[edit]
Tripp was born on October 8, 1990. As a young child, Tripp visited all 50 states as his elder brother, Ryan Tripp, held the Guinness World Record for the longest ride on a lawnmower from 1998 to 2000.
Tripp spent his formative years training to fulfill his dreams of playing NCAA basketball. When he was 13 years old, Tripp was chosen as one of 10 candidates from across the country to attend Shaquille O'Neal's "Hot Shots Camp," sponsored by Nestle Crunch. In high school boys' basketball, Tripp was the top scorer in his state classification and concluded his senior year as Utah's third-highest scorer overall.
Tripp was recruited to play basketball at Hartnell College in Salinas, California, after moving with his family to Las Vegas and finishing his secondary education at Bonanza High School. Tripp established the Salinas Writer's Circle at the John Steinbeck Public Library while he was in Salinas, where he gave panels and held writing workshops for regional authors.

In May 2019, Tripp debuted his first single, Chubby Sexy, which was featured as a "Moment of the Year" by GQ Magazine in their annual Men of the Year issue. This song and its body positive music video received widespread attention from internet culture reporters worldwide. As a result, Tripp was also featured in the "The Manconomy" cover story of the September 2019 issue of Men's Health.[6]
In April 2020, Tripp released his second single titled “Luka Doncic”, a hip-hop anthem titled after NBA all-star and Slovenian basketball phenom Luka Doncic. The song became popular throughout Europe and was featured on the home page of Ekipa24, Slovenia's top sports news outlet. When Mark Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks and a multi-billionaire businessman, learned that the song was named after his star player, he asked that it be played before Dallas Mavericks home games at the American Airlines Center.[7]
Tripp and RiFF RAFF collaborated in May of 2021 and released a song titled "Flamingo Freestyle”. The official music video was filmed in Miami, Florida, and premiered on Jody Highroller's official YouTube channel.[8][9]
Tripp started teasing a new song called “Big Girl Banger” on TikTok in January of 2022.[10] Curvy and plus-size women from all over the world started using the audio snippet to highlight their confidence in videos, which led to the sound swiftly gaining popularity on the video-sharing app. Tripp released the official song and music video for "Big Girl Banger" on May 6, 2022, on all platforms. The song received widespread media attention and swiftly topped 1 million Spotify plays from fans all over the world. As a result of the song's success, Tripp gained over 800,000 new followers on TikTok between the time he started teasing it and the day it was released.[11]
In February of 2023, Tripp began teasing his next single “Basic Bro” on Instagram and TikTok.

Personal life[edit]
Tripp currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with his wife, Sarah Tripp who is a fashion and luxury lifestyle influencer and curve model. They have one child, a son.
