    Rock House Fire

From Wikitia - Reading time: 2 min

The Rock House Fire was a fire burning in Jeff Davis and Presidio counties, Texas. It is one the largest fires ever burnt in Texas, and was the largest fire of the 2011 Texas wildfire season. The fire has possibly been ignited by bad electrical problems.

    Impact[edit]

A total of 174 animals have been directly killed from the fire, especially cattle, and 41 homes have been destroyed near Fort Davis. The place has also smelled like trash in a campfire, according to Bob Dillard, and hundreds of other homes have been threatened. [1]
