Rohar is a small village of 148 hectares in Karauli Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rohar depends on KARAULI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rohar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Rohar's pin code is 322242[4], and village code is 01229200. The area of Rohar is segregated as 26.62 hectares irrigated area, 63.42 hectares unirrigated, the 1.69 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 22.57 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Rohar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Rohar is a census village in the district of Karauli, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 698 and has total administration over 123 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Rohar has 142 children, 71 boys and 71 girls.
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 698 (100.0%) males constitute 386 (55.30%) of the population and females 312 (44.70%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Karauli to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
