Rohini is a small village of 4077 hectares in Nagaur Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rohini depends on Nagaur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rohini is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Rohini's pin code is 341001[4], and village code is 01799000. The area of Rohini is segregated as 17.91 hectares irrigated area, 3217.86 hectares unirrigated, the 658.57 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 182.18 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Rohini has Two public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Rohini has One bank and One credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Rohini is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4774 and has total administration over 860 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Rohini has 970 children, 494 boys and 476 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 2188 (45.83%) males constitute 1095 (22.94%) of the population and females 1093 (22.89%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 10 (0.21%) males constitute 6 (0.13%) of the population and females 4 (0.08%).

The workforce is 1287 male, 1306 female with 988 (38.1%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 664 males and 324 females. 449 males and 270 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 108 male and 27 female agricultural labor. 1605 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nagaur to sell earthen pots and make their living.
