Roondal is a small village of 1423 hectares in Amber Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Roondal depends on Chomu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 820.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Roondal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Roondal's pin code is 303805[4], and village code is 01575700. The area of Roondal is segregated as 820 hectares irrigated area, 119 hectares unirrigated, the 132 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 352 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Roondal has One post office (Rundal B.O) and Fifty public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Roondal has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Roondal is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 7057 and has total administration over 1242 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 764 (10.83%) males constitute 377 (5.34%) of the population and females 387 (5.48%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 665 (9.42%) males constitute 335 (4.75%) of the population and females 330 (4.68%).

The workforce is 1781 male, 724 female with 1585 (63.27%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1323 males and 262 females. 789 males and 201 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 30 male and 13 female agricultural labor. 920 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chomu and Jaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
