Rundera is a small village of 2277 hectares in Vallabhnagar Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Rundera depends on Bhinder, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 173.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Rundera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Rundera's pin code is 313601[4], and village code is 03172800. The area of Rundera is segregated as 456.25 hectares irrigated area, 1075 hectares unirrigated, the 445 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 300.75 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Rundera has One post office (Rundera B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Rundera has One bank and One credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Rundera is a census village in the district of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 5329 and has total administration over 1033 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Rundera has 604 children, 337 boys and 267 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 600 (11.26%) males constitute 302 (5.67%) of the population and females 298 (5.59%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 268 (5.03%) males constitute 139 (2.61%) of the population and females 129 (2.42%).

According to a census 2011 report, 2859 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1507 male, 1352 female with 1991 (69.64%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1411 males and 580 females. 716 males and 420 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 70 male and 77 female agricultural labor. 868 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhinder and Udaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
