Career[edit]

In 2017, Banks was cast as Robert in Ghost House[1][2] and took on the role of Mordred in The Asylum's King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.[3] In 2018, he starred alongside Kamal Haasan in Vishwaroopam II after initially being hired as a scuba diver for a two day action scene.[4]

2017: Who's Watching Oliver[edit]

Who's Watching Oliver Banks co-wrote Who's Watching Oliver with Raimund Huber and Richie Moore.[5][6] He portrayed the titular character Oliver, starring alongside Sara Malakul Lane. Banks' performance was praised by several film critics.[7][8][9] Susan Leighton at 1428 Elm[10] and Daniel M. Kimmel compared his character to Norman Bates.[11] Leighton also mentioned he is like Michael Caine's Alfie[10] while Vicki Woods at Morbidly Beautiful said Oliver was similar to George McFly.[12] Jennie Kermode at Eye For Film claimed it was "the quietness of Banks' performance that makes the film work."[13] Meredith Brown at Dread Central mentioned that "it’s extremely tough to believe he is NOT this mentally unhinged character in real life."[14] Banks won Best Actor for his role at Fright Night Film Fest in 2017.[15]
