Sadariya is a small village of 787 hectares in Simalwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sadariya depends on Dungarpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 30.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sadariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sadariya's pin code is 314403[4], and village code is 03362500. The area of Sadariya is segregated as 90 hectares irrigated area, 332 hectares unirrigated, the 154 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 211 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sadariya has One post office (Sadaria B.O). Sadariya has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sadariya is a census village in the district of Dungarpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2471 and has total administration over 516 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sadariya has 443 children, 234 boys and 209 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 107 (4.33%) males constitute 54 (2.19%) of the population and females 53 (2.14%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 2231 (90.29%) males constitute 1147 (46.42%) of the population and females 1084 (43.87%).

According to a census 2011 report, 1215 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 664 male, 551 female with 399 (32.84%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 316 males and 83 females. 256 males and 49 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 32 male and 11 female agricultural labor. 816 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dungarpur to sell bamboo baskets and make their living.
