Sadhna is a small village of 4200 hectares in Jaisalmer Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sadhna depends on JAISALMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Sadhna is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Sadhna's pin code is 345022[4], and village code is 02015300. The area of Sadhna is segregated as 1695 hectares irrigated area, 830 hectares unirrigated, the 845 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 830 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Sadhna has One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Sadhna has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Sadhna is a census village in the district of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 690 and has total administration over 117 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

According to a census 2011 report, 298 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 173 male, 125 female with 168 (56.38%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 154 males and 14 females. 115 males and 1 female are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 19 male and 8 female agricultural labor. 130 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaisalmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
