Sagani is a small village of 197 hectares in Asind Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sagani depends on Asind, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 12.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Sagani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sagani's pin code is 311301[4], and village code is 02789600. The area of Sagani is segregated as 33 hectares irrigated area, 31 hectares unirrigated, the 101.7 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 31 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sagani has One public telephone. Sagani has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Sagani is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 376 and has total administration over 99 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sagani has 54 children, 38 boys and 16 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 13 (3.46%) males constitute 5 (1.33%) of the population and females 8 (2.13%).

The workforce is 106 male, 146 female with 14 (05.56%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 11 males and 3 females. 7 males and 2 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 4 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 238 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Asind and Bhilwara to sell furniture and make their living.
