Sageta is a small village of 202 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sageta depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Sageta is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sageta's pin code is 327025[4], and village code is 03424500. The area of Sageta is segregated as 97 hectares irrigated area, 25 hectares unirrigated, the 43 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 21.09 hectare area not available for cultivation.
The village is connected with a single bus service. Sageta has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sageta is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1637 and has total administration over 329 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Sageta has 297 children, 164 boys and 133 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 31 (1.89%) males constitute 15 (0.92%) of the population and females 16 (0.98%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 1506 (92.0%) males constitute 785 (47.95%) of the population and females 721 (44.04%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1120 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 573 male, 547 female with 287 (25.63%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 271 males and 16 females. 158 males and 10 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 5 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 833 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
