Sahadka is a small village of 350 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sahadka depends on GOVINDGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sahadka is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sahadka's pin code is 301021[4], and village code is 00928800. The area of Sahadka is segregated as 219 hectares irrigated area, 69 hectares unirrigated, remaining 32 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sahadka has One post office (Sadhka B.O) and One public telephone. Sahadka has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Sahadka is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 471 and has total administration over 87 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sahadka has 76 children, 42 boys and 34 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 34 (7.22%) males constitute 18 (3.82%) of the population and females 16 (3.40%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of GOVINDGARH and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
