Sahara (Rural) is a small village of 2523 hectares in Sahara Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sahara (Rural) depends on Gangapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 40.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sahara (Rural) is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sahara (Rural)'s pin code is 311806[4], and village code is 02865000. The area of Sahara (Rural) is segregated as 111 hectares irrigated area, 816 hectares unirrigated, the 1305 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 291 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sahara (Rural) is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 5532 and has total administration over 1096 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 490 (8.86%) males constitute 218 (3.94%) of the population and females 272 (4.92%).

The workforce is 1509 male, 924 female with 1570 (64.53%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1136 males and 434 females. 408 males and 327 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 75 male and 42 female agricultural labor. 863 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Gangapur and Bhilwara to sell furniture and make their living.
