Sakariya is a small village of 819 hectares in Gangdhar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sakariya depends on Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 49.34% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sakariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sakariya's pin code is 326516[4], and village code is 04117800. The area of Sakariya is segregated as 100.01 hectares irrigated area, 398.99 hectares unirrigated, the 182.72 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 86.62 hectare area not available for cultivation.
The village is connected with a single bus service. Sakariya has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Sakariya is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1347 and has total administration over 290 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 205 (15.22%) males constitute 100 (7.42%) of the population and females 105 (7.80%).

According to a census 2011 report, 685 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 369 male, 316 female with 280 (40.88%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 231 males and 49 females. 160 males and 44 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 43 male and 3 female agricultural labor. 405 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur and Jhalawar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
