Sakdara is a small village of 1338 hectares in Pali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sakdara depends on Rani, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sakdara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Sakdara's pin code is 306501[4], and village code is 02437700. The area of Sakdara is segregated as 16 hectares irrigated area, 875.56 hectares unirrigated, the 256 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 190 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sakdara has One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Sakdara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Sakdara is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 753 and has total administration over 174 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sakdara has 97 children, 54 boys and 43 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 75 (9.96%) males constitute 33 (4.38%) of the population and females 42 (5.58%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 166 (22.05%) males constitute 89 (11.82%) of the population and females 77 (10.23%).

The workforce is 216 male, 76 female with 209 (71.58%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 179 males and 30 females. 102 males and 16 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 38 male and 11 female agricultural labor. 83 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rani and Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
