Salarpur is a small village of 350 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Salarpur depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 6.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Salarpur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Salarpur's pin code is 321606[4], and village code is 00758500. The area of Salarpur is segregated as 9.21 hectares irrigated area, 295.92 hectares unirrigated, the 20.91 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 24.14 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Salarpur is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2424 and has total administration over 451 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BEHROR and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
