Sali is a small village of 2828 hectares in Dudu (Hq. Mauzamabad) Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sali depends on Kishangarh Renwal, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Sali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sali's pin code is 303008[4], and village code is 01510500. The area of Sali is segregated as 180 hectares irrigated area, 1942 hectares unirrigated, the 299 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 407 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sali has One post office (Sali B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Sali has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sali is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3257 and has total administration over 596 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sali has 472 children, 235 boys and 237 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 595 (18.27%) males constitute 300 (9.21%) of the population and females 295 (9.06%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 33 (1.01%) males constitute 19 (0.58%) of the population and females 14 (0.43%).

The workforce is 864 male, 729 female with 1197 (75.14%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 695 males and 502 females. 478 males and 448 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 6 male and 9 female agricultural labor. 396 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kishangarh Renwal and Jaipur to sell ghee and make their living.
