Sandera is a small village of 1616 hectares in Peeplu Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sandera depends on Malpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Sandera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sandera's pin code is 304801[4], and village code is 02604000. The area of Sandera is segregated as 897 hectares irrigated area, 445 hectares unirrigated, the 52.78 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 221 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Sandera has One post office (Sandera B.O) and One public telephone. Sandera has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Sandera is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2967 and has total administration over 543 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 690 (23.26%) males constitute 357 (12.03%) of the population and females 333 (11.22%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1337 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 739 male, 598 female with 1246 (93.19%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 694 males and 552 females. 480 males and 436 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 43 male and 88 female agricultural labor. 91 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Malpura and Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
