Sanoli is a small village of 399 hectares in Mandawar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sanoli depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 20.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sanoli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sanoli's pin code is 301714[4], and village code is 00773100. The area of Sanoli is segregated as 69 hectares irrigated area, 193 hectares unirrigated, the 95 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 42 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sanoli has One post office (Sanoli B.O) and Twenty public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Sanoli has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Sanoli is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2504 and has total administration over 445 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sanoli has 262 children, 159 boys and 103 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 367 (14.66%) males constitute 188 (7.51%) of the population and females 179 (7.15%).

The workforce is 687 male, 245 female with 764 (81.97%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 668 males and 96 females. 324 males and 66 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 59 male and 4 female agricultural labor. 168 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BEHROR and Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
