Sansera is a small village of 1391 hectares in Railmagra Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of , India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sansera depends on NATHDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 30.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sansera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sansera's pin code is 313329[4], and village code is 03033600. The area of Sansera is segregated as 58 hectares irrigated area, 500 hectares unirrigated, the 181 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 652.37 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Sansera has One post office (Sansera B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Sansera has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Sansera is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, . The village has a total population of 2768 and has total administration over 555 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 277 (10.01%) males constitute 155 (5.60%) of the population and females 122 (4.41%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 498 (17.99%) males constitute 250 (9.03%) of the population and females 248 (8.96%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1564 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 832 male, 732 female with 1487 (95.08%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 798 males and 689 females. 496 males and 520 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 47 male and 50 female agricultural labor. 77 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NATHDWARA and Rajsamand to sell earthen pot and make their living.
