Santha is a small village of 835 hectares in Mahwa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Santha depends on Mahwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 360.43% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Santha is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mahwa and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
