Santha is a small village of 835 hectares in Mahwa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Santha depends on Mahwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 360.43% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Santha is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Santha's pin code is 321612[4], and village code is 01373100. The area of Santha is segregated as 565.45 hectares irrigated area, 209.02 hectares unirrigated, the 11.98 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 48.96 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Santha is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 6556 and has total administration over 1122 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 961 (14.66%) males constitute 523 (7.98%) of the population and females 438 (6.68%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 4202 (64.09%) males constitute 2235 (34.09%) of the population and females 1967 (30.0%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 2785 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1559 male, 1226 female with 2510 (90.13%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1470 males and 1040 females. 1018 males and 926 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 100 male and 48 female agricultural labor. 275 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mahwa and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
