Sanwrad is a small village of 1625 hectares in Ladnu Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sanwrad depends on Ladnu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sanwrad is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Sanwrad's pin code is 341303[4], and village code is 01765800. The area of Sanwrad is segregated as 1478.91 hectares unirrigated, the 41.52 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 104.8 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sanwrad has One post office (Didwana H.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Sanwrad has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Sanwrad is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1438 and has total administration over 253 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sanwrad has 214 children, 119 boys and 95 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 447 (31.08%) males constitute 227 (15.79%) of the population and females 220 (15.30%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Ladnu and Nagaur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
