Sarawali is a small village of 320 hectares in Mahwa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sarawali depends on Mandawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sarawali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sarawali's pin code is 321608[4], and village code is 01362500. The area of Sarawali is segregated as 152.55 hectares irrigated area, 32.98 hectares unirrigated, the 32.26 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 102.51 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sarawali has Two public telephones. Sarawali has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sarawali is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 979 and has total administration over 191 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sarawali has 186 children, 101 boys and 85 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 153 (15.63%) males constitute 80 (8.17%) of the population and females 73 (7.46%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 600 (61.29%) males constitute 330 (33.71%) of the population and females 270 (27.58%).

The workforce is 241 male, 153 female with 369 (93.65%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 238 males and 131 females. 144 males and 121 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 3 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 25 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mandawar and Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
