Sarda is a small village of 396 hectares in Aklera Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sarda depends on Aklera, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sarda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sarda's pin code is 326039[4], and village code is 04060300. The area of Sarda is segregated as 136.05 hectares irrigated area, 56.09 hectares unirrigated, the 151.79 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 52.21 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sarda has One post office (Sarda B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Sarda has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sarda is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2732 and has total administration over 580 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sarda has 464 children, 237 boys and 227 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 450 (16.47%) males constitute 238 (8.71%) of the population and females 212 (7.76%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 20 (0.73%) males constitute 8 (0.29%) of the population and females 12 (0.44%).

The workforce is 738 male, 431 female with 594 (50.81%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 519 males and 75 females. 163 males and 26 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 64 male and 9 female agricultural labor. 575 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Aklera and Jhalawar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
