Sareri is a small village of 2603 hectares in Asind Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sareri depends on Asind, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 74.40% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sareri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Sareri's pin code is 311026[4], and village code is 02799400. The area of Sareri is segregated as 362.43 hectares irrigated area, 474 hectares unirrigated, the 1564 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 203 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sareri has One post office (Brahmano Ki Sareri B.O) and Eighty public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Sareri has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Sareri is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4576 and has total administration over 922 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sareri has 560 children, 294 boys and 266 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 201 (4.39%) males constitute 103 (2.25%) of the population and females 98 (2.14%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 604 (13.20%) males constitute 313 (6.84%) of the population and females 291 (6.36%).

The workforce is 1199 male, 1079 female with 2166 (95.08%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1152 males and 1014 females. 550 males and 816 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 94 male and 95 female agricultural labor. 112 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Asind and Bhilwara to sell furniture and make their living.
