Sargaon is a small village of 609 hectares in Beawar Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sargaon depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sargaon is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sargaon's pin code is 305601[4], and village code is 02515700. The area of Sargaon is segregated as 120 hectares irrigated area, 300 hectares unirrigated, the 22.07 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 167 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sargaon is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2143 and has total administration over 411 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 449 (20.95%) males constitute 205 (9.57%) of the population and females 244 (11.39%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 849 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 539 male, 310 female with 588 (69.26%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 443 males and 145 females. 81 males and 50 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 28 male and 12 female agricultural labor. 261 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Ajmer to sell ghee and make their living.
